Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Lead Physical Therapist, you will evaluate, plan, and execute patient’s treatment programs. You will coordinate with the team, patient, and family to develop a goal directed program. You will maintain accurate records of services provided. You will be responsible for following departmental procedures, maintaining professional standards, and seeking professional growth.
You will plan and execute patient treatment plan safely and effectively to achieve set goals
You will maintain standards for treatment procedures and professional ethics established by the TPTA and APTA and TBPTE
You will perform patient evaluations upon receipt of physician’s orders
You will complete thorough evaluations in accordance with guidelines stated in program policies and procedures
You will provide clinical leadership to staff in area of expertise
You will be responsible for assigned program operations including but not limited to orientation of staff, scheduling, and ordering equipment
Job Qualification
Experience
Previous experience in Physical Therapy – preferred
Education
Bachelor of Science, Masters of Science or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy
Licenses and Certifications
Current Physical Therapy license to practice in the State of Texas
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers with American Heart Association or American Red Cross at hire
