Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Lead Physical Therapist, you will evaluate, plan, and execute patient’s treatment programs. You will coordinate with the team, patient, and family to develop a goal directed program. You will maintain accurate records of services provided. You will be responsible for following departmental procedures, maintaining professional standards, and seeking professional growth. 

• You will plan and execute patient treatment plan safely and effectively to achieve set goals 

• You will maintain standards for treatment procedures and professional ethics established by the TPTA and APTA and TBPTE 

• You will perform patient evaluations upon receipt of physician’s orders 

• You will complete thorough evaluations in accordance with guidelines stated in program policies and procedures 

• You will provide clinical leadership to staff in area of expertise 

• You will be responsible for assigned program operations including but not limited to orientation of staff, scheduling, and ordering equipment 

Job Qualification 

Experience 

• Previous experience in Physical Therapy – preferred  

Education 

• Bachelor of Science, Masters of Science or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy 

Licenses and Certifications 

• Current Physical Therapy license to practice in the State of Texas 

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers with American Heart Association or American Red Cross at hire
