SHOP SUBSAFE DIRECTOR

You will serve as a SHOP SUBSAFE DIRECTOR in the PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.


  • You will serve as shop quality control personnel, training leader, and technical expert on the SUBSAFE/re-entry control (REC) instructions.
  • You will serve as a consultant and authority to higher level management on SUBSAFE policy and procedures.
  • You will assess program documentation and system equipment design and, when necessary, formulate alternative support concepts to achieve SUBSAFE program objectives.
  • You will identify SUBSAFE program and planning execution problems and develop and implement corrective action plans to adjust operations to facilitate adequate support.
  • You will conduct follow-up review to ensure implementation of recommendations and analyze the effectiveness and impact of recommendations issued to correct problems.

Requirements

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: conducting studies, reviews, evaluations, or preparation of service requirements to provide recommendations on work practices to maintain water-tight integrity of sub systems and equipment.
