Tile Setters and Finishers
Prepare floor and walls, install tile and hard surface flooring. Measuring and laying out placement of tile are critical details, and precision is required. Basic math and geometry are needed.
If you enjoy working with your hands and creating something, becoming a tile setter is for you. You will learn to read prints, then translate those drawings and layout different types of tile and terrazzo. There are a lot of exciting new developments in material and installation in the field of tile and terrazzo! Bricklayers and allied craftworkers has been training tile setters for over 150 years! Come and join us and become part of tradition that has lasted 15 decades!
