SUPERVISORY ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN in the Air Operations Department of NAVAL BASE VENTURA COUNTY.
- You will maintain responsibility for work planning to be accomplished by subordinates/
- You will perform the duties of the Ground Electronics Maintenance Officer by being responsible for the safe and efficient operation of air traffic control systems.
- You will ensure all maintenance work and ground inspections are performed by qualified technicians.
- You will develop and maintain facility maintenance plans.
Requirements
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience utilizing comprehensive, master-level knowledge of federal air traffic control laws, rules, procedures, and regulations governing the safe movement of air traffic Experience applying full understanding of the functional and operational limits of all ATC equipment, radar systems, approach/airfield lighting, remote status indicators, and communication landlines Experience providing technical expertise and supervision in the maintenance of air traffic control systems to ensure the systems meet operational demands critical to safe control of air traffic in the control tower. Experience operating RADAR with comprehensive technical knowledge.
